Kid Corner was created around one simple reality: moms deserve time for themselves, but figuring out what to do with the kids can make even a simple salon appointment feel complicated.
For moms throughout American Fork and Utah County, booking a manicure, pedicure, or facial can mean coordinating schedules, finding someone to watch the kids, and trying to squeeze an appointment into an already busy day. At Mom’s Oasis, we wanted to remove some of that stress.
That’s why we created the Kid Corner at Mom’s Oasis—a short-term, supervised play space where children can play nearby while their parent enjoys a service and remains onsite.
It’s one of the biggest things that makes Mom’s Oasis different from a traditional salon or spa.
What Is the Kid Corner at Mom’s Oasis?
The Kid Corner is a short-term, supervised play space available for children while their parent or legal guardian receives a service at Mom’s Oasis and remains inside the building.
It is not a licensed daycare, preschool, or drop-off childcare service.
Instead, the Kid Corner is an onsite amenity created specifically to make self-care more realistic for parents. Children can enjoy age-appropriate play in a clean, structured environment nearby while Mom gets something she probably doesn’t get enough of: time to relax.
Our Kid Corner currently welcomes children ages 6 months through 8 years old. Children six months and older must be able to sit independently to participate.
Why We Created a Salon With Childcare Support
Mom’s Oasis started because we saw how often moms had to work around childcare just to make a beauty appointment happen.
Many traditional salons simply aren’t designed around bringing children along. For a mom, that can turn a manicure, pedicure, or facial into a logistical puzzle before the appointment even begins.
We wanted Mom’s Oasis to work differently.
The Kid Corner allows parents to remain close while their children have somewhere designed for them. Instead of asking motherhood to fit around the salon experience, we designed the experience around motherhood.
How the Kid Corner Works During Your Spa Appointment
Using the Kid Corner is meant to make your Mom’s Oasis visit easier.
Your child can use the supervised play space while you receive an eligible onsite service. Parents remain inside Mom’s Oasis throughout the visit, keeping you close if your child needs you.

Kid Corner Safety and Peace of Mind for Parents

Kid Corner team members are background-checked, CPR and First Aid certified, and trained in child safety. Toys and play surfaces are regularly sanitized, staff-to-child ratios are carefully managed, and children are supervised in a structured environment.
